Omonia failed to record a victory within 90 minutes for a fifth consecutive continental fixture (D3, L2) despite opening the scoring in the first half for a third time as they fell to defeat versus PSV. The Cypriot outfit have now conceded the game’s final goal in each of their UEFA encounters in 2020/21 with the exception being a 0-0 draw in a Champions League qualifier. Scoreless efforts in their last two domestic league outings on either side of that home defeat to PSV fails to inspire, as they pursue their maiden victory in the group stage of a UEFA Europa League (UEL) competition. Furthermore, their aforementioned defensive woes have contributed to a run of four consecutive UEL home fixtures in which both teams have scored.

Granada Insights.

Conversely, Granada appear to have been saving their goals for the UEL. The Spanish club have scored at least twice in all but one of their five UEL matches this term, having also won the corner kick count in each of their last four. That stands in stark contrast with one or no goals in their previous five La Liga encounters. Granada’s finest performances also appear to be away from home. Only Atlético Madrid have conquered Granada across their last 13 away trips in all competitions (W8, D4), with five of those eight victories accompanied by HT/FT doubles, and four with a clean sheet.
