The 23-year-old Tommy Paul, who has won a title and made a few semifinal appearances on indoor hard court Challenger events, seeks his first main draw win on the surface in tour-level events. Stefano Travaglia returns to action after retiring from his first-round match against compatriot Andrea Pellegrino in ATP Sardinia a couple of weeks ago.
