Belgian club Standard Liège qualified for the 2020/21 UEFA Europa League (UEL) with three qualification victories at home – two in regular time and two in spite of failing to collect a clean sheet. They now meet Scottish opposition in a competitive match for the first time since 1992/93. Liège’s last six matches in all competitions have now seen both teams score, whilst their qualification victories helped stretch an undefeated home run to 12 games (W7, D5) in the 2020 calendar year. Furthermore, Standard Liège have not lost a UEL group stage match at home since Feyenoord visited in 2014/15 (W5, D4).

Rangers Insights.

Rangers’ third consecutive UEL group stage campaign opens with their first trip to Belgium since meeting Club Brugge in 1992/93.
