PSG overcame what many expected to be their toughest test of the season last round, winning 1-0 at Lyon with a late strike. It was also PSG’s fourth successive Ligue 1 win with a clean sheet, but incredibly, none of those saw PSG win both halves. Despite winning 13 of a possible 16 halves across their last eight home victories, PSG are yet to score a first-half goal from open play at home in Ligue 1 this term. However, the champions have easily compensated, scoring inside the first 15 minutes of the second half in five of their last six Ligue 1 home games.
By contrast, Reims have seen every one of their games this season produce less than 2.5 goals, with at least one team drawing a blank each time. Every one of their matches this term has also produced a goalless first half. Notably, none of their last five Ligue 1 road trips have ended level, with four being settled by a one-goal margin. The last three games in that group of five have seen the decisive goal scored in the second half.
