Huddersfield Town have now suffered three defeats in four games (W1), with all three setbacks coming by a 2-1 scoreline, and twice after opening the scoring. Three of their four Championship wins this season also came by a one-goal margin; highlighting that their games are often tight. Furthermore, half of their league encounters in 2020/21 have been level at HT (W3, L2). Carlos Corberán’s side are now at risk of losing three home matches in a row for the first time since September 2019. Notably though, just twice in 2020 have their home encounters finished as a draw (W6, L8), and their three previous home victories came after the match was level after 45 minutes.

Luton Insights.

Luton Town’s inconsistent form continued as they beat Rotherham United 1-0 in midweek. Four of their five Championship wins in 2020/21 have now come without conceding, whilst on the flip side, they’ve failed to score themselves in all four league losses – three when trailing at HT. The ‘Hatters’ are proving reliable away from home though, and have lost only three of their previous 12 Championship road trips (W7, D2, L3). Seven away league wins running also came with a clean sheet, but only twice since the beginning of October 2019 have they netted 2+ goals in an away league contest.
