Marton Fucsovics looks to continue his excellent run of form on the main tour as he enters the inaugural edition of ATP Cologne. Former world #31 Marton Fucsovics made his way back into the top 50 of ATP Tour rankings after posting some solid results on the main tour since the tour resumption. He has won nine matches out of 12 over the last three months, which includes a couple of round of 16 appearances in Cincinnati Masters and French Open and third round in the US Open. Indoor hardcourt is arguably the Hungarian’s favorite surface as he has enjoyed a lot of success on the surface over the years, including his breakthrough moment on the main tour — quarterfinal in ATP Basel 2017 (as a qualifier). Overall, he has won 105 matches on the surface so far in his career, with 11 of them coming in 2011.

While Marton Fucsovics enters ATP Cologne with lots of momentum, Gilles Simon is winless in three matches at the moment and has won only three of his ten matches since resuming his season in Cincinnati Masters.
