H2H: Genoa vs. Udinese – Prediction (Serie A

Udinese are unbeaten in their last six Serie A meetings against Genoa (W4 D2) – Genoa’s last victory was back in February 2016, under Gian Piero Gasperini.

After a 2-1 defeat to Juventus last time out, Genoa have now lost six of their previous eight Serie A (SA) fixtures (W1, D1, L6). A whopping 87.5% of Genoa’s SA points (seven of eight) have come at this venue, although they haven’t won back-to-back home league games since September 2018. Their own scoring form has been poor too, with Udinese yet to score multiple goals in a SA match this season. Stefano Okaka has scored three of Udinese’s five SA goals, all three goals were match openers. Furthermore, the visitors have failed to score in five of their ten SA matches, with three of those coming on the road. Regardless, 80% of the SA goals they’ve scored (four of five) have come before half-time, while 64.71% of the goals they’ve conceded arrived in the second half (11 of 17).
