Feyenoord vs. Heracles – Prediction (20.10.2019)

Feyenoord are clinging to their top-half position ahead of the round, but encouragingly, both of their home victories so far have come after a won first half. However, they have trailed at the break twice here, recovering only one of a possible six points after a first-half defeat on home turf. A Steven Berghuis double was enough to vanquish Heracles here last term. He has also scored in each of Feyenoord’s last two league games. Despite enjoying a strong start this term, Heracles are very much ‘home specialists’, with just 33 (or 31.73%) of their 104 Eredivisie points gained since the start of 2017/18 coming on the road. This game could liven up after the break, with Heracles’ away league games this term averaging 2.0 second-half goals per match.
