However, five wins from six SA matches this season (D1) – four of which they led at HT – is superb form to bring into this encounter. Having never lost a home H2H against Hellas Verona (W17, D14), and with four wins from six competitive home matches this season – four in which Milan scored in both halves – the hosts are comfortable favourites here. However goals could take a while to come considering the second half has been the main half of action at the San Siro, with 72.73% of the match goals across Milan’s three SA home games being netted after HT.

Verona Insights.

Verona travel here on a three-game unbeaten top-flight run (W1, D2) – the first time they’ve done that since February – which included an impressive goalless draw at Juventus in their previous away outing. However despite that, they are still winless in 13 straight SA road trips (D8, L5). The visitors can actually boast the division’s best defence ahead of this clash, after conceding an average of just 0.5 goals per match, although on the other hand, only three teams have a worse goals scored average than Verona (1.33) ahead of this round.
